Visit our air-conditioned Nature Center                                                                                                      Hours:  Thursday 4-8, Friday 3-9,  Saturday 3-9,  Sunday 10-1

Thursday, Aug. 12      Nature Center open 4:00 PM-8:00 PM

 4:15 PM         Animals of East Harbor State Park  A family nature program.

7:00 PM         Family Fishing Fun!    Bring your own pole if you have one, or borrow one of ours.  Bait provided by Hi-Way Bait and Tackle.   Meet at the Nature Center.

Friday, Aug. 13         Nature Center open 3:00 PM-9:00 PM

 4:00 PM         Spiders and Other Creepy-Crawlies   A family nature program

8-10:30 PM    Dance with DJ Luke   In front of the Camp Store

9:00 PM         Night Hike    Experience nature after dark.  Meet outside the Nature Center. 

                        Wear Insect repellent (for mosquitoes) and shoes (due to poison ivy). 

                        No flashlights or unaccompanied children allowed during this walk.

Saturday, Aug. 14     Nature Center open 3:00 PM-9:00 PM

 

9:00-Noon      Crafts by Pat Catan’s of Sandusky in front of the Camp Store.

10 AM-6 PM  Silent Auction  Lots of Interesting items.  In front of Camp Store.

10 AM-Noon  Football Target Contest  at large playground in “A” Camping Area.

11:30-1:00     Lunch Special!  Coney Dog, Pop, & Chips for $2.  In front of the Camp Store. 

 To benefit the Friends of East Harbor State Park.   Weather Permitting

11:30-3 PM    Dunk Tank  $1.00 for 3 throws.  How good are you?  By Camp Store

3:00-4:00       Mascot Pet Parade   Prize for the best outfit.  By Amphitheater.

4:00 PM         Monarch Butterflies   A family nature program

5:00-7:00       Corn Hole Tournament    Ages 16 and up.  $5 per team.  Prize half of entries. At large playground in “A” Camping Area

7:00 PM         Evening Nature Walk with the Naturalist.  Meet at the Nature Center

7-9:00 PM      Best Decorated Campsite Contest - College & NFL

                        Electric & Non-Electric.  Winners announced at the movie and posted at the store.

8:30-9 PM      Popcorn 7 Pop for $1.00 Great with the movie!  Benefits the Friends of EHSP.

9:00 PM         Family Movie Game Plan G     At the Amphitheater.    

Sunday, Aug. 15       Nature Center open 10:00 AM-1:00 PM

10 AM - 1       Nature Center Open    Naturalist on duty to answer your wildlife questions.
